Things to do in Fenway

Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox since 1912, is the oldest ballpark still in use in Major League Baseball, best known for the Green Monster, the 37-foot wall in left field. You can see it without a game ticket on a guided stadium tour, or catch a game during the baseball season, which runs roughly from April to September or October depending on the playoffs.

The surrounding neighborhood also holds the Back Bay Fens, a chain of public gardens that includes the Kelleher Rose Garden, and sits within walking distance of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Take the T's Green Line to Fenway or Kenmore station, checking the branch before boarding, since several serve this stretch.
